Xube on the BBC

We are Moving: Goodbye Brixton, Hello Bethnal Green

Xube is moving office from Brixton to Bethnal Green on Friday 30th June 2006 . We have been at the Brixton office since Xube's inception in 2001 and have many fond memories of our time here. No more drinks in SW9, or superb ciabatta paninis from San Marinos, the list goes on...

Before we get too dewy-eyed, let us inform you of our new, bigger, and even funkier, office location:

So, please update your address and telephone books and come and see us when you are next in London . You might even be treated to a coffee in the legendary Italian cafe, Pellicci's. Founded in 1900, furnished in 1926 and given listed status in 2005, this is a gem of the East End (Gaw bless yer). Not a day passes when the online video phenomenon - YouTube.com - isn't featured in the national press. If you haven't checked it out we recommend that you pay the site a visit. Anybody can join and upload their films for free (and sometimes other people's, but that's another issue) and then you just sit and wait to see how many viewers you get. Similar to social networking websites such as Flickr ( www.flickr.com ) and MySpace (http://MySpace.com), YouTube is awash with weird and wonderful video creations (as well as the usual dross). 2 overnight worldwide sensations that you just have to see are:
