JISC CONTRACT: EFFECTIVE PRACTICE WITH INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES
We were delighted to win a new tender with JISC to film case studies for their e-learning programme. This strand of the programme is concerned with innovative technologies and the case studies will be filmed in universities and FE colleges across the country. As with all of our work with JISC it is fascinating to get an insight into the most innovative uses of technology in further and higher education, and it is always rewarding to be able to work with staff who are implementing new ideas in an ever-changing educational landscape. The search is on for the best institutions to film in and following this process filming should begin in January 2011.
A NEW WEBSITE FOR XUBE
We have finally launched a brand new website where we can showcase a range of our work. Richard has become a WordPress specialist, but seems to look 10 years older. Nevertheless it is exciting to have a website that we can now update ourselves and we were determined to go through this process before letting professional designers anywhere near it. We hope to use the website to communicate with an ever-widening client base, and if the blogging doesn’t get out of control we might just achieve this.
