Assessment in a Digital Age

Xube is passionate about making great films for the education sector. The company was set up by two former teachers and we have maintained a commitment to produce high quality and value for money films for a wide range of institutions and government agencies. We have spent hundreds of days filming in universities and schools, and believe that this experience means that we know how to make great films in an educational environment.

ICT Excellence Awards
The ICT Excellence Awards have been Becta’s flagship ceremony for the last decade. This film is a lively and engaging account of how young pupils at this Leeds primary school engage with technology as a matter of routine, and with terrific results.

Next Generation Learning Awards
The Next Generation Learning Awards reward great technology practice in the post-16 sector. This film about Charnwood Training Group, was filmed in a day, and was one of 12 films we made for this awards ceremony, held in Birmingham earlier this year.

Assessment in a Digital Age
Xube was commissioned to make 5 films for JISC’s programme, “Effective Assessment in a Digital Age”. This case study shows three examples of departments at Bedfordshire where assessment and feedback are being enhanced via the innovative use of technology.
