CD-ROM drives are so widely available on computers that they remain a very popular delivery format for multimedia. CD-ROM multimedia projects allow greater interactivity and accessibility than DVD and for some projects these issues are of paramount importance. The playback of video from a CD-ROM has certain restrictions relating to picture size and data rate. However, the CD-ROM route is often an appropriate solution when there are different digital assets involved in the project, such as: interactive questions, Word and PDF documents and various text and picture information. |
